Nzioka Waita who is running for Machakos Gubernatorial Race on Tuesday evening received a huge boost after Machakos youths endorsed his bid
The youth expressed their confidence that Nzioka Waita will beat his competitors; Wavinya Ndeti (Wiper),Francis Maliti(Maendeleo Chap Chap) and Johnson Muthama (UDA), come august 9th during general elections
The youth were talking this at a machakos hotel were they were gathered during their normal monthly meet ups
Talking to the media,they said that Nzioka Waita is the best fit candidate for the position, saying that he has all what is needed for one to be a Governor
"According to us,Nzioka Waita is the right person for the position.He has all qualities that a Governor should have.Why should we go for another person yet we have our choice right?"
The youth from Machakos Town constituency endorsed Nzioka Waita's Gubernatorial bid,revealing that he has been in the National Government as State House Chief of Staff, from this,saying that he has a high level of leadership experience, making him more qualified candidate for the position
"What we need here in Machakos is total fruitful leadership from a serious, qualified and visioned Governor.Nzioka Waita has been in the Government before,so he has good experience"-said Kavata Agnes
They indeed said that as youths they need a good Governor who will be reachable to help them grow and live better lives
"We need the best Governor, who can always be there for us.We don't want to have Governor who won't receive our call,Governor who will go in hide after 9th August.No,we need Governor to listen to us and make us live better lives than before "-John Mutua said
They vowed to support and stand by his side, saying that Nzioka Waita is the best candidate
"We are proud with Nzioka Waita. This man will make things move in Machakos.Let people cast their votes wisely"
Their slogan remains,'We want the best and the best is Nzioka Waita. From this it's evident that Nzioka Waita has pure,heartful and loyal votes from Machakos youths
According to Rebecca Mutave,they gained nothing from the outgoing Mutua's government, saying that they have hope in Waita.
"I remember well,when Mutua was asking for votes,he met us,promised us alot,but we benefited with nothing.We don't want this to happen to us again.Kindly Nzioka Waita, help us achieve and live better lives"
They dismissed claims that they met with the other two Nzioka Waita's competitors; Wavinya Ndeti and Francis Maliti, saying that their interests is on Nzioka Waita only.
This comes 3 months to this year's general elections which will be conducted on 9th August.
Nzioka Waita is battling for the position with Wiper's Wavinya Ndeti, UDA's Johnson Muthama, Maendeleo Chap Chap' Francis Maliti among others.
