Speaking to the Media on Friday during Idi Ul Fitr celebrations at Kathemboni- Machakos, Zuhura Rajab-Educationist and former Machakos Chief Officer,said that at many times, there have been Community Secrecy on Matters Incest, calling the Community to always report such cases with no fear, so as to safeguard the future Community.
Zuhura says that Currently, there have been increased numbers concerning Incest, a matter that should be a gone story.
According to her, people arrested over such cases, have been released unlawfully, saying that this has been a major challenge.
"You can't just arrest someone over a mistake, you fail to correct him/her, but you just release them . How will we ever curb all this? - questioned Zuhura
She said for the government to do away with such cases amongst the community, they should ensure of proper punishment of law breakers.
"Arrest and Punish them. We can't Tolerate such people within the Community "
She said that many people who practice Incest are known but back hidden in the community
Zuhura indeed called on all government authorities to ensure that they stay alert and act on such people swiftly, so as to sharpen Kenya and ensure a promising future.
According to her, the release by bond matter has majorly contributed to the increased Incest cases, saying that many people have been practicing Incest, for they know that they will pay Bond, and get released freely.
The renowned Educationist from Machakos Zuhura Rajab, also went on asking teachers to ensure keen control amongst children in school, by separating girls and boys.
"Sometimes our children go to school innocent, but they come back different. Why, because of big room that they get in some school to learn irresponsible behaviours amongst themselves "- said Zuhura
She concluded by saying that everyone should stand to fight Incest.
