"Education Is The Platform That Makes It Possible To Defeat All Barriers "-MP Kivasu Nzioka

On Monday 17th April, 2023, Mbooni MNA Hon.Kivasu Nzioka issued bursary cheques worth 49 million to his Mbooni Constituents.


During his address at the event that commenced at 9am in the morning,MP Kivasu Nzioka said that to him, education is a priority, promising never to give a deaf ear on matters concerning education in his Constituency.

He insisted that joint work program between parents and teachers is vital, asking everyone to prioritise education matters, so as to make Mbooni Constituency shine academically.


Kivasu went on saying that, it is only through education, that negative barriers will be broken.


"Education is the platform that makes it possible to defeat all barriers "- said Kivasu Nzioka

He issued Bursary Cheques worth 49 million to help ease education fee challenges in Mbooni.


He advised all school heads to issue receipts, and make sure accreditation for each of the students is available, without shortcuts.

He denied on a request to stop issuing bursaries to students who school outside Mbooni Constituency, saying that he is not promoting the schools, but he is focused to improve education rank of Mbooni Students, who school outside the Constituency.


Kivasu pointed out that he will always issue bursaries to Mbooni Constituents without placing any Conditions.

He revealed that time for politics is over, saying it is now the high time to bridge the political gap and work together for success of Mbooni Constituency to be achieved


"I'm in Mbooni as the MP to ensure I empower the youth, the women and all locals. Time for politicsisover. As at now, am not interested in petty politics. Kindly those with petty politics- says Mbooni Mp Kivasu Nzioka

Kivasu has issued Ksh. 49.28 Million, with each location getting Ksh. 1.6 Million.This is historical as no such amount has ever been issued in Mbooni since independence.He has been consistent on his support for education, periodically raising the amount he issues to Mbooni children. He remains committed to education in Mbooni and keeping children in schools
