On Thursday, Machakos County Governor Wavinya Ndeti received reports from four out of the five Taskforces that she appointed last year to look into various issues concerning the affairs of the county.
The Taskforces include:
1. Human Resources Audit
2. Pending Bills Audit
3. Motor Vehicles Audit
4. ICT Infrastructure Audit.
"I sincerely thank the members of the Taskforces who devoted their efforts and energy in carrying out these audits, which will no doubt assist us in implementing the right policies and taking the correct administrative measures to streamline the government"- said Wavinya
She went on;
"In doing so, we will transform Machakos into a model county where order, professionalism and comformity to the rule of law is the yard stick of government procedures and operations"
Wavinya assured the people of Machakos as well as the county government staff that they shall implement the recommendations of those reports in full compliance with the law and without any fear or favour.
