On Thursday, Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse launched school feeding program targeting all primary and day secondary schools in Kibwezi Constituency
At Emali primary school, parents, pupils, teachers drawn from the two wards of Emali and Nguu were filled with joy as Mp Mwengi Mutuse launched the program.
"We have agreed with our secondary schools to retain our learners in school with the bursaries and food that we have provided. We target to improve education standards at all levels in Kibwezi to create a highly educated and enabled society"- said Mwengi Mutuse
Tomorrow, Mwengi will be launching the program in Makindu and Kikumbulyu.
"Leadership must care and empathize with the people at all times"- added Mutuse
