Speaking during the burial ceremony of the late Gedion Kavuu at Mumbuni North Ward, Machakos County Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi urged Political leaders to bridge their political differences and work together for the benefit of common mwananchi.
According to Mwangangi, Unity and Solidarity are key factors for responsible growth in leadership.
He said unity will help the common mwananchi benefit with leadership goodies, saying differences and fights will only lead to poor leadership and chaotic form of leadership.
He noted that the time for politicking was over, saying that this is the high time elected leaders should stand firm and work together for the betterment of the electorate.
He called for peace in Mumbuni North Ward.
He termed the late Mumbuni North Ward MCA Gedion Kavuu as a Hero, saying that his traits shall be forever missed not only by Mumbuni North Ward people but also Machakos at Large, revealing that he was a dedicated honest leader.
Mwangangi asked Mumbuni North Ward people to stay calm as they await for further guidelines on MCA Replacement, however noting that Governor Wavinya and Machakos County Government will first stand in chance of the MCA for provision of services to Mumbuni People.
