Safaricom, in a public statement released on Friday, stated that a number of services will be unavailable during the stated time period, among them the PayBill and Buy Goods Lipa Na M-Pesa facilities.
Others are; M-Pesa Business to Customer (B2C) and Business to Business (B2B), Daraja Portal and all M-Pesa APIs, M-Pesa organization portal, dealer portal, and Lipa Na M-Pesa portal.
Services for International Money Transfers (Western Union) and M-Pesa Global, as well as the M-Pesa App and Safaricom App will also be shut down.
Further, M-Shwari, KCB M-Pesa, M-Kesho, Hustler Fund, Fuliza New Limit allocation, Pinless Top-up, and loT services will be affected by the maintenance.
“All other services including calls, data and SMS and all other M-PESA services will be available as usual,” read the statement.
