Matuu Ward MCA Judas Mbili Ndawa has taken on Governor Wavinya Ndeti on her plan to construct a perimeter wall at Matuu Level 4 Hospital rather than requested Morgue and Casualty.
Ndawa says that they requested to have a morgue and Casualty established at the hospital, but it has been in vain despite his efforts.
According to the MCA , there was an agreement between him and Governor Wavinya Ndeti to have the two proposals established, but from far, it is like the two are not the priorities but a perimeter wall, from the Governor.
He mentioned that the interest of Matuu people is not a perimeter wall but a Morgue and Casualty, saying that if the perimeter wall will be constructed, it will be out of their consent.
Ndawa said that there have been lots of accidents in the area, but due to lack of Casualty at the Level 4 Hospital, death tolls have risen, with Matuu loosing so many lives which could be saved if it had been established.
He noted that if the Casualty is established, it will play an important role and save many lives.
Ndawa went on revealing that wherever there is a Hospital, then there needs a Morgue, since people also lose lives.
