One day after fire razed property worth millions of money in Machakos Grogon area,Machakos Gubernatorial Candidate Johnson Muthama Nduya and his running mate Prof.Faith Muli visited the affected business community
They consoled with the business people of Grogon whose machines, timber and other business accessories were consumed by fire on a fresh day of the week,Monday at around 3pm
To help the affected begin reconstruction afresh, the two promised full support and also gave their contribution to help fasten the recovery process
Muthama and Prof.Faith Muli were the first Gubernatorial candidates to give their support to the affected
Addressing at the scene,Muthama hit Machakos County Governor Alfred Mutua saying he has no value addition to the people of Machakos, revealing that he has always worked in a cinematic way
"I told you Mutua is a "Sungura" you ignored and voted him in as your governor. See now we are all here mouths wide open.This is a result of poor leadership "-said Muthama
As many of the witnesses say,the fire engines came late with some having no water. On this,Muthama pointed out that if there were serious fire fighters in Machakos, they would have controlled the fire at its pick time
"We are suffering because of this 'Kamtu mnaita Mutua' .He has never been serious with leadership as a governor of this precious county. This fire would have been controlled earlier if only we had serious fire fighters here in this county. We were rescued by Mavoko fire engine.How can you ignore your people to go for luxury?"-questioned Muthama
Prof.Faith Muli-Muthama's running mate added saying that it's now the high time to pill out poor leaders and space in visioned leaders like her and Muthama
"Let's not repeat this kind of mistake again. Let's vote in right leaders this time round. Leaders with high vision on how to run a county. And when I check the Gubernatorial candidates line up,the only able person is Muthama and Prof.Faith Muli "-said Prof.Faith Muli
