Objective & Regularized Lottery And Gambling Niche In Kenya

The government is on its plans to establish a balanced lottery and levelled niche in Kenya.

This is according to the National Vice Chairperson of the Presidential Taskforce on the establishment of a National Lottery Public Participation Program -Gedion Thuranira, who was speaking today at Machakos.

During a public participation program that took place in Machakos bringing together participants from three UKAMBANI counties (KITUI,MACHAKOS &MAKUENI) Gedion Thuranira said the government is strategizing to not do away with gambling and lottery sites but to have a balanced and levelled niche for the business.

After the government gets views from the public,it shall formulate a policy and then propose a bill that will help regulate unnecessary competition from non-kenya citizens, since their aim is realizing maximum taxation for the benefit of kenya's economy.

On forming the policy & bill, the government shall ensure this betting sites benefit Kenyans in several ways through their cooperate social responsibilities amongest others.
