"Plant More Trees To Tame Climate Change "- Governor Wavinya Ndeti

Speaking at Makadara in Athiriver on Tuesday while holding Public Consultative Forum Meeting with Athiriver residents, Machakos County Governor Wavinya Ndeti asked Machakos Residents to purpose planting more trees to tame Climate Change.

"I call upon all machakos residents to plant more trees so as to help tame Climate change "- said Governor Wavinya Ndeti


Wavinya noted that for long period of time, Kenya has been affected by Climate changes, saying that it is the High time Kenyans come out to tame Climate Change.

According to Governor Wavinya, planting of trees is a way of environmental conservation.

Moreover , Governor Wavinya Ndeti vowed to support Athiriver youths get jobs for she knows better on their grievances.


She revealed that the construction of Athiriver Level 4 Hospital will commence immediately, initiative that was met after President William Ruto donated 100 Million and her Government 100 Million in support of the construction.


Under her governance, Athiriver will be urbanised to get a new look .

"I am pleased to inform you that by the end of this year,i will be opening a Mavoko Land Registry Office in the area to address and expedite the issuance of title deeds.I assure you that all the matters we have discussed will be put into action for the improvement of Mavoko Sub-county and Machakos as a whole.
