In Machakos County,several women have risen into power,eyeing for different political positions in the Government of Kenya


Ex-diplomat ,Sheila mwikali mutanga is one of them.She is eyeing Masinga Parliamentary Seat


Women as leaders and decision-makers at all levels are critical to advancing gender justice and gender equality—and to furthering economic, social, and political progress for all.


When women are meaningfully represented and engaged in leadership bodies—such as legislatures, courts, executive boards, community councils—laws, rulings, and decisions are more likely to be inclusive, representative, and take diverse views into account.


Women’s leadership within households, including decision-making over land and household income, improves access to education and healthcare for their families.


Sheila Mwikali Mutanga-Masinga Parliamentary Aspirant will be a mother of all in Masinga Constituency without discrimination .She will empower women leadership.

Commit to gender parity in leadership.


Implement laws and regulations that guarantee a safe and open environment for women’s participation and leadership.


Establish policies and practices that encourage women’s leadership and promote gender parity.


Invest in and develop public services and programs that enable women to succeed as leaders.


Enable and support women’s organizations and movements.


Change the narrative on women in leadership, and confront socio-cultural drivers of gender inequal


Sheila Mwikali is a strong leader in Masinga who is battling to win the Parliamentary race,come august 9th this year during general elections.


Sheila has quite enough leadership experience.This makes her the most right candidate for the position.


Having served the country as a diplomat in various countries across the continent, Sheila Mwikali Mutanga has now thrown her hat in the ring for Masinga parliamentary race.


"My immediate position in government service was director member at Athi Works Development Agency where my contract ended on February 9, 2022,” Mwikali said.



“I had vied for the same position before. There are lots of unfinished work to do in Masinga that includes creating job opportunities for our youths,” she said.


The hopeful Masinga Constituency MP Sheila Mwikali Mutanga says that if elected to power, Masinga Constituency will never be the same again under her leadership
