Traders in Tala,Matungulu raise alarm over uncollected garbage

Traders who operate in Tala,Matungulu in Machakos County, have raised alarm over uncollected garbage within their working areas

The irate traders have faulted the County government of Machakos for failing to collect the garbage that posed a health hazard.

“The garbage is all over for several weeks now but the Machakos County government has not yet collected them,” said Nyange Nduku,trader

The traders who are now living in fear of contracting water borne diseases are calling on the County government to move with haste and collect the garbage

“We call on the county government through the department of water, sanitation and solid management to give the matter the seriousness it so deserves,”
