On Tuesday Evening, Machakos County Governor Wavinya Ndeti witnessed the swearing into office of the County Public Service Board Chairman,a member of the board and eight more Chief Officers of the County government of Machakos.
The event took place at Convention Centre,Machakos People's Park.
The officers are:
1. Albanus Paul Mutisya - Chairperson, County Public Service Board.
2. Marleen Misco Mwanika - Member.
3. Kasinga Julius muindi - Health department, Health Facilities and infrastructure development docket.
4.Winnie Musyoki -Lands, physical planning, housing, urban development & Energy department ;Sewerage, Sanitation and waste Management docket.
5.Machogu Ian Obare - Finance, Economic Planning, Revenue Management and ICT department; Information, Communication & Technology Infrastructure.
6.Sheikh Ifrah Abdi - Trade, innovation tourism, culture and industrial development department; digital economy docket.
7. Bernadette Wavinya Mutiso - Devolution department; Public participation, citizen engagement and customer service.
8. Mutunga Zipporah Kavata - Trade, tourism culture and industrial development department; Small and medium enterprise development docket.
9. Mule Daniel Lemba - Devolution department; Public Communication and E-Government docket.
10. Mulwa Albert Katumo - Agriculture, food security, co-operative development and marketing department; livestock and fisheries development docket.
To the newly-sworn officers, you have found work had already started;have that multiplicity effect to improve public service.
"You must work and prove people wrong about their perception of young people.You are professionals. To those who would ruin my public service record I say; Yes we campaigned together. We are friends but when it comes to work there's no friendship you must deliver.Every position comes with responsibility.Maintain a good image of Machakos County. What you portray out there matters.Above all,fear God in all you do. We want to be good examples in Machakos County. You must think ahead of the governor.Let us take our work seriously"- said Wavinya
