During campaigns, he went round making promises to the people of Yatta,and as many do,Promising and not fulfilling, Basil did not follow the lane,his promises are now been revealed and witnessed
After he was elected as Yatta MP, Robert Basil has never gone to hideout,actually, he has been working jointly with Yatta people,day in day out

FACTS CHECK: On 7th Dec this year,MP Robert Basil accompanied by DCC Yatta Sub-county, ACC Katangi and Katangi Location chief, commissioned opening of two administration blocks for chiefs one in katangi location and the other one at kyua location at Kiamani area.
On the same date,MP Robert Basil had a conversation with CS for Roads, Transport and Public works Hon Kipchumba Murkomen on upgrading Katangi Ikombe Matuu road, Sofia Matangini Makuyu road and Katangi Kinyaata Kithimani road to bitumen standards.
Under his leadership, KMTC Matuu was officially launched on 18th Nov 2022 and commenced enrollment of students for different Medical courses.
On 14th Nov 2022,MP Robert Basil launched the CBOs and groups financing program at Kithimani salvation army in Yatta, which intends to empower the community through grants to boost them in different programs.
27th October, Basil met the national administration led by Yatta Subcounty DCC Madam Lilian Njagi and all ACCs from different parts of Yatta,main agenda been the issue of food security and school feeding program.
To curb Shortage of water in Yatta Constituency Basil made efforts to Governor Wavinya Ndeti to intervine, in return, Wavinya send her team at Mekilingi sublocation in katangi ward to launch disilting of Mekilingi water dam under his request.
After receiving reports about the blown off roofs at Nthūngūlûlū primary school which happened on Sunday of 16/10/2022,Basil dispatched a team composed of public works officers and members from my office to asses the damage and immediately plan for repair works.
Mp Robert Basil has done quite more work for the people of Yatta Constituency within few months after his election
