In the just released County Top- Members Of Parliament Performance Ranking by Politrack Africa, Yatta MP Hon.Robert Basil has been ranked the 2nd best performing MP in Machakos County.
The MP has always been on ground working for the common mwananchi and listening to their grievances.
Basil has brought government services close to Mwananchi. He has been conducting; interactive Participation meetings, Birth certificate registration exercises, services that Yatta people accessed through alot of straining before his leadership, but once he took over, just at their doorsteps, such services have been available.
During his campaigns, Basil promised never to dissappear from his electorates, a matter that has come to pass for he has been on ground working jointly with his Yatta people.
Under his leadership, no discrimination has been witnessed for he emphasises on equitable leadership.
Under his leadership in just less than a year, roads have been well maintained, Digitisation in bursary issuance has been introduced, Education Sector has been enhanced, among many others.
MP Robert Basil is a visioned and goalminded leader who aims in making Yatta Sub-county a more better place than he found it.
