Yatta Residents Urged To Register For NHIF Health Cover

Yatta residents have been urged to register for the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) medical cover to be able to access health care services with ease.

Yatta MP Hon.Robert Basil said medical bills in Kenya are currently very expensive but with the NHIF cover, Kenyans can access medical services at convenient, affordable rates.

MP Basil was speaking at Kamutembwa- Mathingau,Ikombe Ward in Yatta Sub- County while attending the burial ceremony of the late Mary Ngeneke Mwonga who went to be with the Lord.

"We should all register for NHIF as through it, the government is committed to ensuring that all its citizens access health care services in all hospitals that are accredited," said MP Basil

Basil said he is urging his constituents to keep paying the NHIF monthly fee as it is much cheaper than having to sell a cow to access healthcare services.

He insisted that he is goal minded to serving Yatta People rightfully and fruitfully.
